Modality – Reiki Energy Healing
Client – Dog: Jet. Age – 14
Jet’s human – E
Presenting Issue – At a vet appointment for Jet’s arthritis, E mentioned he’d been progressively walking slower and covering less distance. She wondered, arthritis aside, if it had to do with his tongue sitting in an odd position recently – inside his mouth behind the bottom teeth, rather than hanging out over his teeth as normal. He’d also had occasional frothy globules of saliva develop.
The vet detected slight swelling at the back of Jet’s tongue, which could explain the unusual positioning – a blocked saliva gland perhaps. However, due to the difficulty of looking into a conscious dog’s mouth, a thorough exploration would require sedation – not a prime option for an aging canine.
As Jet’s breathing, vital signs and daily habits were normal, E was advised to keep check on him until his next appointment in two weeks when they would further discuss finding the cause if needed. Meantime should anything change for the worse take him straight back in, or to the emergency vet.
While E understood the logic of this, knowing about the swelling she wanted to do something immediately and sought out Life Sculpting for Reiki Energy Healing, hoping it would help relieve Jet’s issue.
Jet received an initial Reiki treatment, concentrating on the swelling, while also covering possible emotional elements. The appointment was in the morning. Jet then rested until his evening walk – after which E was excited to report his tongue had returned to its normal hanging out over the teeth position, as had his walking speed and distance covered. Jet received a follow up Reiki session a week and a half on.
At Jet’s next vet appointment there was no indication of swelling anywhere on his tongue = no sedation necessary.
Jet’s tongue has remained normal since his initial Reiki Energy Healing session, as has the speed and distance covered on his walks. He no longer receives treatment for this; however E now books him in for regular Reiki sessions to assist with alleviating arthritic pain and boosting overall mobility.

Modality – Bach Flower Essences
Client – Human: G. Age – 59
Presenting Issue – G came to Life Sculpting to talk about the issues she was facing – inability to make decisions, lack of self-worth, not trusting her own thought processes and decision making.
A course of Bach Flower Essences was recommended to bring her mind and emotional states back into balance. We chatted a while, narrowing down her current emotional reactions and domino effects to problems and how she would prefer to cope with them in the future, while identifying the flowers that best address her specific issues. G then went on her way with her personalised bottle of Bach Flowers Essences.
G checked in after a few days to say she found the essences very easy to use and carry with her wherever she went, and that within a couple of hours of starting on them she began to feel calmer and more confident that things were shifting and would work out in a positive way.
A week later she reported she was feeling comfortable enough that she didn’t automatically reach for the flower bottle first thing to help solve her problems, but began to realise that she possesses everything she needs to conduct herself and her life in the way she wants to, and believe that it will all be okay.
Several months later G called again to say how impressed she is that even after all that time, if the issues she faced resurface, she is still able to step back, breathe, remain calm, safe and confident in the knowledge that she has the emotional and mental wherewithal to respond rationally and positively in the decision-making and other processes of working things out herself.
Bach Flower Essences – One personalised combination mix lasting up to 6 weeks. Positive life value so far = 9 months and counting 🙂

Modality – Natural Mind Healing
Client – Human: D. Age – 28
Presenting Issue – D had a phobia of bugs and insects, especially spiders. He would break into a sweat and panic just thinking about them, because you know, he said, there was bound to be some lurking around unseen somewhere sometime anywhere anytime.
Seeing them in real life was much worse. Aside from the terror of coming face to face with ‘some sort of creature’ there was also the embarrassment of freaking out and losing control in public. Or at home. Or at work. Or anywhere. Because people didn’t get or believe, and sometimes ridiculed D’s fears. Even so he hesitated seeking help to overcome them because it seemed such a silly thing to be scared of, especially as a strong, buff 28-yr-old gym junkie…
A humiliating moment involving being startled by a small black spider in a gym locker found D cross the threshold of hesitancy into action. It was time to find a resolution to his over-the-top fears.
D came to Life Sculpting and after an introductory meetup decided to try Natural Mind Healing, hoping to at least lessen the severity of his phobic reactions. D was not disappointed. A bit of a chat and participation in a simple healing technique later, D found the severity of his phobic reactions to be not only less, but also non-existent. He actually had a hard time believing it at first, however the proof followed him out the door and into his daily life whenever he came face to face with bugs or insects. He simply wasn’t fazed.
And that was something that D liked very much about his ‘turnaround’. He still knew there were dangerous bugs, insects, spiders and whatnot, and times when being careful was warranted, but he no longer expected them to jump out at him at any moment; he didn’t even think about them. They’d stopped bugging him, pun intended said D, and he was very impressed and happy with the results of his Life Sculpting Natural Mind Healing experience.
What if?

It’s a cute meme and a bit of a giggle, but from another angle it isn’t a given that you always, or ever:
Have voices in your head.
If you do they mean trouble.
They’re actually voices.
What if your primary language is Sign, if you’re non auditory? Does it follow that the chat group in your head presents as visualisations of signs? Does every signing person see signs in their head? Does every hearing person hear voices in theirs?
What if you’re hearing, but read by touch – Braille, faces, objects around you? Do you hear voices in your head with accompanying kinaesthetic representations? Do you feel internal chats as much as you hear them?
How easy it is to complicate a simple meme. In keeping with the gist of this one let’s work on the premise that at times you have some sort of communication system going on in your head, be it auditory, visual, kinaesthetic, a mix thereof, or however your individual representation systems operate. If you think you haven’t any, what happens inside your head when you read, hear or feel this sentence?
What if, instead of wanting to make trouble these little ‘voices’, these representational communicators, are banding together as a group in order to support you in something, or lots of somethings? Your own personal cheer squad:
Three more laps – Keep going. Two more – You can do it! One more lap – Go you! No more laps – Yahoo you did it!!
In all sorts of contexts:
Okay time for a break now. Breathe deep, relax, breathe, deep, relax…
Or to warn you of danger:
Car not stopping for us on the crosswalk. All together run!
What if the little communicators in your head are BIG? Big enough to discuss and negotiate situations to your benefit.
We’ve decided we will leave you alone to procrastinate and have a small reward later, provided you get off your bum and walk around a few blocks now.
The meme’s voices lean towards an external position; the insinuation they’re discussing something to do with you, without you. This might be okay if not for the small matter of sharing a body and all that goes with it. A body you quite understandably consider to be yours. Over which you would like to have a say, a part in the decision making at the very least.
So what if, rather than assuming they’re banding together to get you in trouble, you’re curious what your representational communicators’ intentions are for you, and what they can help you achieve? For the benefit of all of you.
And what if it is possible to join in with your mind’s version of a chat group in your head to discuss, negotiate and come to mutual agreements on whatever issues or contexts are under communicative review? For the benefit of all of you.
It is possible.
Life Sculpting’s Natural Mind Healing works on the basis that the communicators in your mind have positive intentions for you. Well aligned intentions and communications tend towards producing a natural balance and peace within the mind, body and soul.
At times though communications might go astray, off track, become confused and perhaps unaware of the effect their altered paths have on your overall being. That’s where Natural Mind Therapy can help you discover how to get back on track, or an even better track, on mutually agreeable terms with your internal communicators.
Treat your whole self, mind, body and soul to an in-person or online Life Sculpting Natural Mind Therapy meetup. Take an active part in designing your life your way.
To the benefit of all of you.

Brain training and reconditioning
It began with her microwave oven passing away. She felt the loss, the severing of the very familiar as she removed it from the shelf leaving a blaring gap. It had lived almost nineteen years throughout which it’s clock had been her go to timepiece, even when mobile phones became commonplace. Mobiles could be anywhere, but the microwave clock was fixed and readable from many vantage points in the house.
For two of the three weeks it took to find a replacement microwave she was amused by her own brain conditioning, as she continued to check the time on the empty shelf where habit refused to give over. By week three habit had become annoying, and she impatient. Rather than have conniptions over her brain’s ability to follow long held patterns, she dealt with her suddenly unwanted habit by applying a couple of techniques, retraining her brain to:
- check the time on her phone instead, until she had a new microwave in place
- have her phone with her in the first place, until she had a new microwave in place
- automatically return to her nineteen year time checking habit, when the new microwave was in place
It worked a treat. Exactly as she’d planned it, and besides for a different microwave all went back to normal in her time checking routine.
Some habits are welcome. She didn’t want to give up her microwave timepiece altogether, because she liked her old habit. It was convenient, comfortable and reliable. Yes it became unwanted for a time, but had she elected to simply get rid of it there may have been roadblocks. However, the process was about negotiating the interim exchanges of conditioning, so she didn’t go nuts looking at a timeless gap in the wall, but didn’t lose her convenient habit with the new microwave.
In short she planned and lived her preferred patterned behaviour design.

Research indicates that 40 to 95 percent of our behaviour may be habitual. Depending on the site you’re on. Either way that’s still a lot of automatic patterns running through our brains, some of them enjoyable, some not. This story illustrates it is possible to retrain our habitual behaviour, embedded automatic conditionings and such, sometimes quickly and easily, and that they might be altered, enhanced, redesigned, reprogrammed, interrupted, removed, replaced and many other things – to our suit individual needs and requirements.
